These large-cupped blooms (Division 2) arise in late midseason (mid-spring in most climates) on plants just 14 to 16 inches high. Very long-lasting after cutting, they also create interest in the garden.
Like all Daffodils, 'Ambergate' is left alone by nibbling deer and other creatures, and naturalizes magnificently over time. It needs well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade, but requires almost no maintenance to return reliably for many years. Also striking in containers, it is a classic color pattern no garden should be without! Zones 3 to 8.
