Americana Annual Plant Combination
Make it Independence Day All Season!
In this combo you receive 6 plants total: 2 each of Hotwater Blue Lobelia, Potunia Yellow Petunia, and Empress Flair Dark Red Verbena. Arrange them in your flowerpots, windowboxes, or sunny annual bed just as you like for the best mix of colors and textures. All love plenty of sunshine, water, and regular feeding. Given this, they will bloom tirelessly until nipped back by the cold weather of autumn.
These 3 varieties make good companions not only for their all-American colors, but for the differences in their flowers' sizes and textures. The Lobelia offers small, intensely colored blooms, that true-blue shade almost impossible to find in the garden. The Petunia is a near-white shade of primrose, so luminous in late afternoon and twilight. Its flowers are large and held wide-open. And the Verbena strikes the balance between the two, with florets arranged in ball-shaped bouquets among dark green, fresh foliage. Arrange them any way you like; they can't help but look perfect together!
The plants also vary in habit, just enough to keep things interesting. The Lobelia (among the most heat-tolerant of all, by the way -- if you've grown older Lobelias, wait until you see the difference Hotwater Blue makes in the sweltering August garden!) is a trailing plant 8 to 12 inches long and wide, ideal for tall planters, tubs, baskets, and windowboxes. The Petunia has a rounded habit about 10 to 12 inches high and 12 inches wide, simply packed with big blooms. And the Verbena is semi-upright, 6 to 10 inches high, with extra-large flowerheads.
The Americana Combo is a terrific choice for any sunny spot in the garden and especially in containers. It's versatile, super easy to grow, and very long-lasting. Spruce up the deck, porch, patio, and more with these dependable beauties! Pk of 6 plants.
