Mini Sticks Rose is such a joyous presence in the sunny border, your best containers, the foundation, or anywhere else in the garden with plenty of light. A dwarf Thrift, it sports big, globe-shaped blooms of bright pink and white, no two just alike, that begin with the Daffodils and end with the Echinacea!
The first flowers open before spring has really sprung, glowing above deep green grassy foliage on plants just 10 inches high and about a foot wide. Long-lasting and cheery, they add much-needed color to the bleak February or March landscape. They are followed by many others, with the final blooms often passing as late as the 4th of July. What a fabulous season for such a modest little plant!
Mini Sticks Rose is very cold-hardy as well, thriving despite rough winters and unseasonable frosts. Always neat, dense, and attractive, it makes a lovely edging, complements most other perennials in the sunny border, and looks terrific in containers.
