Fire offers 2 1/2- to 4-inch double blooms of vibrant gold, orange, and scarlet, many with elegant edging and no two just alike. This is the warmest-toned Begonia yet, absolutely eye-catching from across the garden. And the foliage just makes those bright colors glow all the brighter!

There is also one other separate color available in the Mocca series, dark rosy Pink Shades. However, to get the full range of Mocca color, you must try the delectable mix. Truly a designer plant, it's easy to start from seed and so dependable you'll be enjoying its blooms for weeks!

The flowers begin in late spring and continue into early summer, set just above the foliage on plants that peek out of windowboxes, hanging baskets, and flowerpots. Just 10 inches high and 12 to 15 inches wide, these plants are compact yet still make a huge impact, their large, lush foliage filling the available space nicely. And the blooms hold for several weeks, adding magnificent over-the-top beauty to the home, patio, deck, and more. Fire blooms just 22 weeks from sowing the seed, which is super-fast by Begonia standards. The first season you grow it, it will form a tuber (bulb) over the season, and when you cut back the foliage in late winter and dig up the plant, the tuber will be ready to store in a dark, dry location (kitty litter in a shoebox is the tried-and-true method!) over winter for replanting in spring.
