The 1- to 2-inch buds on this upright plant become loose when it's time to harvest them -- simply tug and if they break off easily, they're perfectly ripe! Unlike many varieties, which mature unevenly, the entire crop will be the same size and ready to harvest together, which simplifies things!
This plant reaches 26 to 30 inches high and about 18 inches wide. Resistant to Yellows, it's vigorous and easy to grow. You will love Diablo!
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before setting out plants into the cool garden. Diablo Hybrid loves chilly weather, which improves the flavor of the sprouts tremendously. As the sprouts begin to develop (from the bottom up), remove the lower leaves to encourage heavier production. Pkt is 50 seeds.
