Cabbage Caraflex Hybrid
Small 1- to 1½-pound heads store for up to 8 weeks!
These small 1- to 1½-pound heads are ready to harvest just a little more than 2 months after you set the seedlings into the garden, and such a fabulous harvest it is! Caraflex is quite heavy bearing, with good dark green wrapper leaves to protect the tender foliage inside. The plants demonstrate excellent resistance to fuasrium race 1, increasing your yields of meltingly sweet and succulent cabbages even further. Just wait until you try Caraflex shredded into salads and slaws or steamed and sprinkled with caraway seeds!
These heads store very well, too, which might surprise you. Expect them to remain fresh and tender up to 8 weeks after harvest -- a respectable time for any cabbage, and really exceptiional for a Sweetheart type!
Sweetheart probably gets its name from the way the cabbage looks when sliced in half lengthwise: just like the two sides of a heart! It's also called Pointed, Hispi, and Hearted, and it's an exciting new development in cabbage we think you'll love as much as we do. Give Caraflex a try this season and discover just how mouthwatering and sweet green cabbage can really be! Pkt is 20 seeds.
