Chives Seed Tape
No more fussing with microscopic seeds!
With this new seed tape, you literally lay it down on top of the soil where you want the plants to grow, cutting it to fit the space and arranging it in any pattern you like. Then rake or sprinkle about a half inch of soil on top of the tapes and water them in well. That's it -- in a few weeks you'll see evenly-spaced, healthy green shoots that need no thinning! The two 7½-foot-long strips of seed tape in this package give you a planting that looks like it was designed and grown by a professional -- in less time that it would take you to make all the holes in the soil, let alone drop the seeds in, cover them up, and then thin the seedlings a few weeks later!
Chives is such a useful herb in the kitchen garden, windowsill display, and even among sun-loving annuals in beds and borders. Snip off as much as you need from the top of each aromatic shoot -- it will keep growing you more all season! And few plants look so neat and tidy in a large planting!
