Here it is: your new favorite cut-flower! Cinderella is a far sturdier, longer-lasting, more weather-resistant Japanese Windflower than older varieties. Its midsummer to early fall blooms are followed by handsome seedheads that make lovely Everlastings. You just can't go wrong with two seasons of beauty -- and two kinds of cut-flowers! -- from this reliable perennial.
One of the reasons Cinderella holds up so much longer and better than other Anemones is its petal thickness. These bright pink petals are held straight out around a large, eye-catching golden center. The edges of the petals curve upward slightly, creating a saucer-like shape you'll love. Bees and butterflies approve, too, visiting the flowers frequently over the long season.
When the blooms pass, they are followed by seedheads that can be cut and dried for use in arrangements all fall and winter. It's so nice to get an extra season or two of beauty from Cinderella every year!
Expect Cinderella to reach about 12 to 18 inches high and up to 24 inches wide in full sun. Part of the Fantasy® series, it is easy to grow in rich, well-drained soil, and compact enough for container use as well. Your border never had it so good as with 3 months of baby-doll pink blooms from Cinderella! Zones 5-8.
