Sahin's Yellow blooms in 4 to 5 years from seed, with about 80% of plants bearing true yellow blooms. We ship you 2 seeds for the price of one, with at least one, and quite possibly both, guaranteed to be yellow. The blooms arise in big 6-inch clusters of bright golden trumpets with darker throats and a very full, rounded look atop sturdy stems. The foliage is lush and lovely, with erect 12-inch dark green leaves framing the flowerhead.
Once it begins blooming, Clivia is very long-lived and seldom needs repotting (it likes being potbound!). Thriving in the low light of the home, it is perhaps the finest houseplant ever! Blooms begin in late winter and continue into early spring.
