Red Ruffles is the cause of more garden double-takes than just about any other Coleus I know! The color is so dramatic -- the combiation of darkest red and bright scarlet on leaves whose green base is just barely detectable! And it's a nice size for garden or container growth -- just 2 to 2 1/2 feet high and wide!
The foliage is fascinating in shape as well as color. Lightly fringed, it is long and somewhat narrow, with a curled-back habit that adds depth to the plant. Very elegant, it can be "dressed down" to take its place in the bed or border, or used as a solitary accent for a special planter in a place of honor.
