Coleus 'Rustic Orange'
One of the warmest-toned Coleus, it tolerates sun well and is very dense and lush.
This plant reaches 18 to 24 inches high, with a naturally well-branched habit and long, pointed leaves. It tolerates part shade to full sun (best in the north); just increase the amount of water it receives if you plant it in more sun. Both beautiful and versatile, it thrives beneath tall or leggy shrubs as well as in those dark garden patches that desperately need some color. And it makes a fabulous houseplant!
For garden use, plant in moist soil and keep it moistened throughout the growing season. Space plants about 12 inches apart. Coleus grows readily, with its most magnificent display in summer. Insignificant flowerspikes arise in late summer; if you pinch these off, the foliage show may continue well into fall! Try planting among ornamental grasses and flowering annuals.
