The showiest large-flowered Cosmos bipinnatus we've ever seen, Psyche bears big, 4-inch, fully to semi-double blooms of deep lavender-pink, crimson, and white. The petals are frilly and very tightly set, for a cheery jam-packed effect surrounding the large golden eye. Arising on strong stems, they are ideal for cutting.
This plant reaches 4 1/2 feet tall and about 18 inches wide, blooming heavily all summer long. A wonderful show for mass planting in the sunny border or bed, Psyche Mix is a long-lasting treat!
Like all Cosmos, this charming variety thrives in the sunny garden, drawing butterflies and compliments by the dozen. Simply direct-sow the seeds wherever you'd like lots of quick, long-lasting color. 2 1/2 months later the plants are in full bloom! The flowers are great in vases too, keeping their color and holding up their heads over a long period.
