Cypress Vine is the perfect screen, with lacy, fern-like foliage elegant enough for the patio yet dense and lush, for superb coverage. The rich red blooms form neat, 5-pointed stars with long trumpet-shaped throats, studded among the foliage like jewels.
Cypress Vine is a sun-loving annual and is not picky about soil type. A good choice for the less-rich soils near fences and against structures. Pkt is 30 seeds. Cannot ship to AZ.

Do you like Hummingbirds?
i stumbled across this plant when a friend gave me some seeds. i took an old 6' ladder and planted the vine at its feet. i was tickled with the unusual feathery vine that began winding up the legs of the ladder. how pretty!
then, these lovely 5 pointed stars began popping out. BEAUTIFUL! suddenly, i see humingbirds all day long! they love this plant!
on top of all that, this plant is self seeding and the seeds are extremely easy to gather once they ripen. next year, i plan to build a garden arch outside my living room window and allow the Cypress Vines to cover it. it will be lovely on its own and the hummingbirds will just increas the appeal. and under the arch i'll place seats to enjoy my garden in the evening.
this is an all around fantastic plant to have in the yard!
