Classified as a Single Late Tulip, Oxford Red blooms in mid-spring in most climates, its flowers remaining for 3 weeks or more. They begin with the classic egg shape of the Darwins, gradually opening into a wide bowl shape. Fabulous!
Oxford Red reaches 20 to 22 inches high and spreads up to a foot wide, though you may want to plant the bulbs closer together for dazzling dense coverage. Zones 3-8. Pack of 10.
