Description / Dalmatian Peach Foxglove
The Dalmatian Digitalis comes in a variety of colors. The gentle pale peach of this digitalis 'Dalmatian Peach' is a flattering color addition to any hue combination in your garden. This Foxglove covers itself in late spring with its peach-colored blooms accented with orange-apricot speckles in the throat. They are easy to care for an quite predictable in their size. They will grow between 16 to 20 inches tall and 12 to 14 inches wide thus making them a smart choice for any compact area in your garden. They stand up proudly on appealing green stalks so they also make beautiful cut flowers for some vertical interest in an arrangement. They are quite uniform in height so you'll be able to create a dazzling display in your sunny to partly shaded perennial garden!
Note: Digitalis is one of the most famous toxic plants. While small doses of the plant are actually used to good effect in heart medicine, high doses can cause cardiac arrhythmia and even death.
