By far the richest-colored and most beautiful green Amaryllis ever grown.

Brings unusual color to the late-winter home!
When we saw this stunning Amaryllis in Holland, we knew we must offer it. The blooms are very long-lasting, with long, slender, slightly recurved petals of lime-green, darkening toward the center into a star shape. They arise in great numbers -- 5 to 8 or more is typical! -- to a stem on sturdy, compact plants that need no staking.

Absolutely unparalleled for holiday decoration, this Amaryllis is a fine addition to the late-winter home, brightening the room with one-of-a-kind color. The flowers are smaller than traditional Dutch and South African varieties, but there are more of them and they are every bit as long-lasting, with slender, spidery petals and fresh celery-green color! There has never been an Amaryllis like 'Evergreen' available for American gardeners before!

This bulb is hardy only in zones 8-11, but can be grown year after year as a winter-blooming houseplant. Pot it up in October and leave it in bright light until the blooms begin to appear. Then set it in indirect light and enjoy many weeks of splendid color! Let the blooms pass and the foliage turn brown and fall over before storing it for next holiday's display. Easy and stunningly beautiful, it also makes a very special gift. Zones 8-11.

Stunning in a lovely green
Cindi B from FL wrote (May 13, 2014):
I received my bulb the end of March and by Mothers Day it was blooming on two stalks with one stalk still coming up. The color is outstanding with a celery green and dark lime star center. It is the only true green amaryllis I have seen. It is compact and sturdy. Absolutely gorgeous, I will look forward to enjoying this plant in the years to come.
