Garden for Victory Hat
This design was inspired by a vintage Garden for Victory woodcut we found in the attic.
Our new Garden for Victory themed hats started as just a fun way to show pride for what we believed in, but they have been such huge hits around the building and in the community we wanted to offer them to our fellow gardeners!
This design was inspired by a vintage Garden for Victory woodcut we found in the attic. It had been used in the 1940's when families were joining the war effort by supporting food production in their own backyards. As we had just been discussing Victory Gardening and its relevance today, we felt it was fate that we came across this particular woodcut, and we turned it into a graphic for this hat!
These are 100% cotton khaki hats, featuring an adjustable cloth strap in the back and embroidered with the brown Garden for Victory design (about 2.5" tall) on the front. Made in China.
