Beautifully framing the huge, brightly-colored blooms, the large, zoned foliage of this Orbit mix is almost a scene-stealer! Widely shaded in near-black against the rich green, these leaves are handsome enough to stand on their own as a foliage plant--but the huge 4- to 5-inch flowerheads nearly obscure them at the height of bloom! You will love Orbit's easy-care habit and constantly attractive look. Basal-branching yet compact, it manages to produce plenty of blooms and leaves on neat 14-inch plants. And it blooms early, extending the show right up to frost in the garden, pots, or windowboxes! This mix contains 8 colors (each also available separately; just click on the color you desire): appleblossom (a blushed-pink white), deep salmon, rich scarlet, pure white, pink, soft rose, bright red, and pale violet. Easy to start from seed indoors in late winter or outdoors in early spring, it blooms all summer and can be wintered over indoors. Position in full sun and well-drained soil. Packet is 10 seeds.
