Green Onion Parade
Great for spring and fall crops in moderate and warm climates, summer in the north, and even winter in the hottest areas!
This onion redefines "vigor." From a single planting you'll get plenty of straight, waxy, picture-perfect dark green stems. Pick them when they're about a foot to 16 inches tall for best flavor. Parade is very tolerant of bulbing, so you needn't rush to harvest it at once, but successive plantings every 2 weeks work best.
Like most onions, Parade thrives in normal to sandy soil exposed to full sun. Keep the soil well-drained and moist. If you live in a warm climate, spring, fall, and possibly even winter are your best crop times; farther north, you can enjoy onions all summer long! No kitchen garden should be without this charmer, so grow Parade this season and see what all the flap is about! Pkt is 1000 seeds.
