Provides wonderful year-round cover for arbors, boundary walls, and more
Lonicera 'Dropmore Scarlet' is a very winter-hardy and easy-to-grow vining honeysuckle. Quickly growing to 8 to 12 feet, this stunning climber produces a bounty of long, trumpet-shaped scarlet-orange flowers that are clustered in miniature bouquets from late spring through summer, attracting hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Its foliage is rounded and a beautiful blue-green, providing wonderful year-round cover for arbors, boundary walls, or entryways.

It performs best in moist, well-drained, organic soil and full sun, although it can also handle some shade. Shortly after being planted, it should be provided a trellis, fence, or other climbing support.
