Impatiens 'Athena Mix'
Longer to bloom and quicker to spread than other fancy-flowered Impatiens.
The flowers have a rosebud shape, very elegant in bud as well as bloom, and open to bright shades of appleblossom, purple, orange, red, orange-and-white, and red-and-white. They begin a bit earlier than most other Impatiens, fully flowering by the time summer starts, and prepared to continue well into autumn. Semi-double and very long-lasting, they are truly beautiful!
The habit of this low-growing, compact plant is attractive too. The leaves are dark green and very lush, and the plant spreads vigorously, scrambling across bare soil fast to show off even more blooms. Every garden needs a hardworking ground cover for shade, and 'Athena' should be your first choice! Expect it to reach 12 to 24 inches high and spread 18 to 24 inches wide. Pkt is 20 seeds.
