A stylish new look for Impatiens, Peach Butterfly offers larger, more abundant blooms, each boasting an attention-getting splash of orange near the center. (Perhaps the blooms think they're Pansies!) Peach Butterfly has one of the longest flowering periods of any Impatiens, and its habit was bred just for hanging baskets and mass plantings -- super well-branched, with trailing stems that look terrific spilling over the sides of containers and scrambling across the garden floor!
Fully 3 inches across, these blooms sport peachy-salmon petals with a big dollop of bright orange. They are set on the top of the foliage, so that a fully-bloooming plant shows scarcely a trace of green. And they are determined to bloom all summer long in any partly-shaded setting, and even longer in containers.
Peach Butterfly reaches 20 to 24 inches high and 20 inches wide, with a lush, mounding habit. It makes a spectacular mass planting, with no gaps in the plants, but its real standout performance is in baskets.
