Kiwi Fruit Male
Hardy through zone 9 (10 on the West Coast)!
Kiwi Fruit matures in autumn, setting egg-shaped 2- to 3-ounce fruits with a slightly furry exterior and bright green interior, marked with a ring of black seeds and a pale center. The flavor has been described as a combination of pineapple and strawberry, with a fresh, almost citrus-y tang and a slight crunch from the seeds. If you haven't tasted a homegrown Kiwi, you are in for a treat!
