The Key to a Glorious Garden

'Real Glory' makes a dramatic statement wherever you plant it.

A truly astonishing bloom! The petals are perfect--slightly reflexed, pristine white, and subtly ruffled. But what really makes 'Real Glory' unique is the center--a big, creamy golden dome overflowing with anemone-like stamens. 'Real Glory' is a fascinating focal point wherever you grow it--as a specimen, in a container, in a cutflower arrangement, or in a flower bed. This variety is super-floriferous and long-blooming. The flowers can last 2 weeks or more in the vase, offering you a long season of beautiful arrangements!

The bloom season begins in late spring in most climates, continues through summer, and even trickles into autumn if you deadhead the flowers to encourage new blooms. That's an incredible span for any plant, and much longer than most Shastas! Butterflies pay homage to 'Real Glory' throughout it all, adding further bright color to the display.

This UK introduction was bred to have a tight clumping habit, an unusual reflexing anemone flower form, and improved disease resistance. The blooms age exceptionally well, with multiple layers of pure white petals opening flat and gradually reflexing over time, pushing the dome further out into prominence.

'Real Glory' reaches up to 26 inches high and 16 inches wide on strong stems, with dense branching and mid to dark-green, ovate foliage held below the blooms. Healthy and far more disease-resistant than older varieties, this perennial asks little more than direct sun (or just a bit of shade) and fertile, well-drained garden soil to thrive and multiply over time in the garden. And since 'Real Glory' tends to be avoided by deer, it will live on to beautify your garden year after year. Deadheading is recommended. 'Real Glory' is hardy to -20?F. Zones 5 to 9.
