A bouquet on every stem!

Big clusters of flowers on long, elegant stems.
Simply the best Lisianthus for big, long-lasting, exquisitely-colored double-flowered blooms, 'Cinderella' will live happily ever after in your sunny beds, borders, and cutting gardens! These blooms are beautiful, easy to grow, and very long-lived before or after cutting. If you like big, showy bouquets that won't curl up or droop even after a week, grow plenty of 'Cinderella' this season!

A soft powder pink, these 3-inch blooms have twice the petal count of single-flowered Lizzies, plus an excellent symmetrical form that makes them breathtaking in garden or vase. And the plants are much easier to grow and harvest than other varieties, because they branch at the top of the stems, giving you a bouquet with every snip (and also keeping the bottom of the plant open and airy, which is healthier for it, especially in hot, humid climates).

I always think of Lisianthus as the master of disguise in my garden, because its buds look exactly like Roses, its newly-opened blossoms like Tulips, and the older flowers like Poppies! A superb cut flower, it keeps its form and shape nicely, lasting more than a week in the vase. And in the garden, you will find that 'Cinderella' treats you to encore after encore as the season winds down. I love plants that liven up instead of dying down at the end of the season!

This plant reaches 18 to 22 inches high and about 10 inches wide. It thrives in any good garden soil, and will delight you over a long summer season. If you like 'Cinderella Pink', be sure to grow the whole series -- Blue, Ivory, and (my favorite) Yellow! Enjoy! Pkt is 25 seeds.

Pink Lisianthus A Great Addition
Morton Bortell from KY wrote (November 22, 2011):
I try find something new every year and am very happy with the pink lisianthus. We have many visitors on campus and this is the flower the gardening ladies wanted to know all about. It's gorgeous! I will want to see how well it makes it over winter and into next year to verify its permanent status, but I am definitely going to try the other colors too this coming spring. The plants had no pests at all and took the heat and dry spells well. One word of advice - if you plant them in a spot that gets one half day of light, the flowers will lean toward the light, so plant them to be seen from the full sun side.
