Long Day (Northern) Onion Sampler Pack
Perfect for the small garden or first-time onion grower!
This pack contains long-day (Northern) varieties, which are planted out in early spring and harvested in summer in cooler climates. Here's what you get:
50% Walla Walla Sweet - Walla Walla is a sweet yellow with a delectable flavor! One of our customers' longtime favorites, it matures up to two weeks earlier than other long-day yellows, and is exceptionally cold-hardy. The skin is tan and the flesh white on this Washington State variety.
30% Redwing Hybrid - Simply the most widely adapted, tastiest red we have grown! This favorite reaches 2¾ to 3½ inches in diameter and lasts well. Ready in 100 to 120 days.
20% Ringmaster - This heirloom white is ready in about 105 days, with crisp and thick rings (perfect for frying), a small neck, and tight skin. It stores for up to 5 months, resists pink root, and has a mild, pleasing flavor. The deep green tops make excellent green onions, while the 5-inch diameter bulbs give you plenty of succulent sweet flavor!
