Marigold Sunburst Orange Splash Hybrid

Sunburst Orange Hybrid offers big, 3-inch single blooms of bright orange with generous red shading. The frilly center is prominent, but the petals are large and long, giving this Marigold more of a daisy shape. Magnificent!

The plants are tall (14 to 16 inches) and very vigorous, with a denser, better-branched habit than traditional French or African types. And they're triploids, which means they have extra chromosomes, for greater strength and bloom power!

New World Marigolds (also known as "mule" Marigolds) are daylength-neutral, which means they don't need a certain number of hours of sun before they can begin flowering. If summer comes late to your climate, these Marigolds will begin blooming in spring instead; if fall comes early, the flowers keep coming! Ideal for northern climates where the growing season can be cut short, they also thrive in the south, where their better tolerance of rain and heat enable them to keep blooming through the dog days of August.
