6 feet tall--great for trellises and large patio tubs!

Indescribably fragrant and a full 6 inches across--a treat for the evening garden!
The first time you watch a Moonflower swirl open, you simply won't believe your eyes. The whole process takes less than a minute--from tightly-furled, long greenish-white bud to glowing, wide-open 6-inch bloom--and it occurs at twilight, when the rest of the garden is closing up for the night! Indescribably fragrant, Moonflower is one of the joys of the night garden, and this 6-foot vine is particularly effective on the patio, twining up the porch railings, or set under windows, where the fragrance can be appreciated indoors and out.

An easy, carefree vine, Moonflower can be started ahead indoors or direct-sown when the soil is warm in any sunny garden spot. The blooms arise all summer and into fall. Magnificent! Pkt is 25 seeds. Cannot ship to AZ or PR.

Fun plant
Anna from TX wrote (November 02, 2011):
I bought this because I wanted a fast growing vine...which is exactly what it did. I started the seeds between two layers of a damp napkin. Within 24 hours the seeds had already sprouted so I moved them to germination pods. In ONE week two leaves had already formed on each plant and they and were ready for transplanting. I grew these in containers, with a climbing trellis in Texas, so here are a few tips: The plant doesn't do well in weather over 95°. Must keep the roots cool. Or the leaves will grow puckered and spotted. Watch for the tomato hornworm. They love this plant (because it is in the nightshade family). Look for them underneath the leaves if you notice the leaves are getting eaten. The buds are large and produce beautiful flowers and a very strong cent. Well worth the effort.
wasp

wasp loves the buds. I and everyone that I know also loves it. The thing is. If I get stung. I could die in 10 mins. So I think that should be a warning to let people know.
