Organic Mizuna Mizuna Early
Vigorous plants tolerate both heat and cold, extending your harvest in both directions!
40 days. Mizuna is the Japanese mustard green beloved in mild Mesclun mixes, stir fries, and more, and now you can grow this gourmet treat from Certified Organic seed! Whether you harvest it leaf-by-leaf (beginning at just 20 days!) for tender baby greens or let it mature into a fully-grown head, Mizuna has a unique flavor and super nutrition.A cool-season crop, Mizuna should be started in early spring or late summer. This early-maturing variety tolerates both heat and cold, extending the season nicely for both short- and long-growing climates. The lacy-leaved plants are lovely as ornamentation as well as nutrition, bearing thin white stalks topped with rosettes of thick, deeply-cut green leaves. And if you harvest the leaves continuously, you'll get "cut-and-come-again" production!
