Park's Best Climbers Seed Collection

Item # 90514
Available to ship.

Great for covering unsightly fences and stumps, decorating trellises, and soaring up pergolas!

Contains Morning Glories Heavenly Blue and Split Second, plus Hyacinth Bean and Cypress Vine Mix
Vines are such a valuable addition to the garden. Send them straight up and you have architectural accents in as much or as little space as you want. Send them horizontal and you decorate ugly chain-link fences, transform plain walls, and twine through open-habit shrubs. Let them meander along the garden floor and suddenly those poor dry patches of soil are blooming mounds of color!

In this economical collection, you get 4 of the very best annual vines for the garden at a terrific price. We've included two Morning Glories -- the classic favorite and a thrilling newcomer -- the criminally underused Hyacinth Bean (why isn't everyone growing this glorious climber?!), and a mix of Cypress Vine colors. All thrive in full sun and aren't picky about soil type, provided there is adequate moisture. So easy to grow, so beautiful over such a long season!

Here is more information about exactly what you get in this collection. You'll receive 1 packet of each, for a total of 4:

Morning Glory Heavenly Blue - Heavenly Blue is the variety most people picture when they think of Morning Glories. Intensely blue and very abundant, the soft blooms bedazzle wherever they arise, offering soft color on a vigorous, dense, carefree vine. The cheery white eye adds to the appeal of these blooms, which swirl open in the morning and then close again in afternoon. Perfect for covering unsightly buildings, tumbling over fences, or decorating any vertical garden structure from the mailbox to the lamppost, this 8- to 10-foot vine blooms over a very long summer and fall season and is pest free.

Hyacinth Bean - A beautiful twining legume, this entire plant is ornamental -- the deep red stems and glossy veiny foliage bear an airy cascade of delicate, inch-long lilac-rose blossoms. Ruby-purple beanpods, 3 inches long, arise beneath the flowers over a long season. For a colorful ornamental display, Hyacinth Bean is unsurpassed! The blooms arise all summer, and the beans mature in 80 days from a spring sowing in full sun. Give this plant something to climb and watch it take off! It reaches 10 feet tall.

Morning Glory Split Second - Huge powderpuffs of rosy-pink wow on the vine on this exciting double-flowered Morning Glory! No two are just alike, but all are amazing on plants that reach 4 to 6 feet long in the sunny garden. Drought-tolerant; direct-sow or begin seeds indoors. Blooms from summer until frost.

Cypress Vine Mix - Easy to grow, this vigorous 12- to 25-foot vine simply erupts with 3 to 4 months of bright blooms! Cypress Vine is the perfect screen, with lacy, fern-like foliage elegant enough for the patio yet dense and lush, for superb coverage. The blooms form neat, 5-pointed stars with long trumpet-shaped throats, studded among the foliage like jewels. This mix contains rich red, soft rosy-pink, and bright white blooms! Cypress Vine is a sun-loving annual and is not picky about soil type. A good choice for the less-rich soils near fences and against structures.
