Petunia Park's Whopper Hybrid Red
You'll love these profuse blooms on trailing stems . . . and on upright, full-centered plants!
Very large 3- to 3 1/2-inch bright red blooms erupt all over this plant, beginning in late spring and continuing right through summer and into fall. Unlike spreading Petunias, though, which set new blooms at the end of their stems (and can look rather bare and flat in the center as the long season goes on), the Whopper sets new buds all along the stems, so it always looks newly-blooming and full. But unlike upright Petunias, it has long, trailing stems, so you can let it dangle from hanging baskets, windowboxes, and flowerpots with merry abandon. Of course, it also looks terrific scrambling around in the sunny annual bed, filling the bare space between plants beautifully. You just can't go wrong with this exciting new Petunia!
If you like these red blooms, try pairing them with Whopper Blue or unusual Burgundy. And be sure to order all you want early in the season -- we predict that Petunia Whopper is going to fly out of our Seed Room quickly! Pkt is 10 pelleted seeds.
