Phlox 21st Century Rose Star
Begins blooming just 10 to 11 weeks from sowing!
And the best part is the blooms themselves. About an inch wide, they appear by the many dozen in full, rounded clusters above the foliage on this neat 10-inch plant, beginning just 10 to 11 weeks from sowing the seeds! The color blend is very unusual for Phlox -- the petals are bright pink and star-shaped except for the very base, which is a deep rosy-red, forming a dark eye in the middle of each bloom that really jumps out in the garden!
Not only is 21st Century heat-tolerant, it's more adaptable to other stresses than most other Phloxes, too. Heavy rainfall and overly moist soil don't bother it, and it performs equally well in cool, temperate, and warm climates. And if you like this color, you'll love Blue Star!
Try this vigorous, floriferous Phlox and find out just how trouble-free and resilient Phlox can be! It's superb for beds and borders, easy to germinate (the 90% success rate is much higher than that of older varieties!), and a snap to grow in full sun and enriched, well-drained soil. NOTE: We ship primed seed which must be sown within 3 months of purchase to be effective. Pkt is 15 seeds.
