Pink Velour Crape Myrtle
Maroon seedpods split open to release winged seeds!
'Pink Velour' is usually used as an ornamental tree or eye-catching centerpiece because of its exceptional color. The burgundy shades on the foliage is most visible along the edges of the leaves and along the veins. It almost seems to glow all around the edges when it's in sunlight! The blooms last for several months, and the maroon seedpods split open to release winged seeds. Gorgeous!
If you want this lovely Crape Myrtle to grow dense and low to the ground, it can be cut back and pruned to your liking. This is a truly wonderful, long-lasting garden treasure! Zones 6-9. Cannot ship to AZ.
