Pole Bean Trionfo Violetto
An Italian heirloom with tender texture and delicious flavor.
This is a French-type pole bean best harvested at about 6 inches, when it is no wider than a drinking straw. The bite is so succulent and sweet and the flavor truly "beany." Not to mention the plate appeal of that rich purple pod!
Beans are among the easiest of all vegetables to grow, and the entire plant improves the soil by fixing nitrogen in the soil. Every garden should grow beans, if just to plow the plants under at the end of the season! Give them sunshine, something to climb, and any well-drained soil, and off they go! Pkt is 100 seeds.
