Large bush is resistant to Common Bean Mosaic!

5- to 5 1/2-inch pods are bursting with flavor!
55 days. The best of the early Romano beans, with mouth-watering flavor and that extra-"beany" bite! The 5- to 5 1/2-inch pods are flattened, broad, and bursting with seeds. Plants are large and resistant to Common Bean Mosaic, meaning even bigger yields. You may want to stake this generously-sized bush for easier harvest.

Very easy to grow, even for the beginning gardener, this bean should be direct-sown into the garden after all danger of frost. For best harvest, plant successively every 3 weeks or so, ceasing in late spring or early summer and resuming after the worst heat is past. Pkt is 2 ounces (about 100 seeds).

Best bush bean ever!
Hawaiianelle from HI wrote (August 24, 2011):
We ordered this bush bean seed twice and will be placing another order today so we'll have plenty of these in stock. One 8 foot row planted 4 inches apart produced enough green beans for our family of 4 and left enough to share within one month. These prolific producers are loaded with flowers and once they start to give you'll be harvesting daily. They start off slow the first few days then go like crazy. Within 5 days we are harvesting 50-60 beans per day for about 3-4 weeks before they begin to taper down. Nearly every seed I planted sprouted.within 4 or 5 days. My family loves the flavor and crunch of these beans including my 2 year old granddaughter. Bean Gina is the only bush bean I'll be planting from now on. These beans do need some kind of support because they tend to grow almost like pole beans. They send out a center trailer for some reason. I use bamboo sticks crisscrossed in front of the plants and train the trailers around them. Inexpensive at Lowe's or Walmart and they work great
