The Biggest Crops, Every Time!

This Northern Highbush is a quick grower and early bearer, with gourmet fruit.

When you're serious about growing your own Blueberries, Reka is the variety you want for consistently early and very generous crops. This Northern Highbush always delivers, and the berries are utterly delicious, with a rich sweetness you'll love!

Reka simply outperforms most other blueberries from the moment it begins it spring growth. It reaches maturity super-fast and immediately begins blooming and fruiting, outyielding all others without half trying!

Bred in New Zealand, Reka offers medium to large berries that are especially good for canning and freezing. (Don't worry -- they're also great straight from the bush, and you'll eat plenty before you make it back to the house!) Very tolerant of wet, heavier soils than others, this is a good choice for the south and west as well as the north. It even offers handsome burgundy foliage in autumn!

Grow Reka in well-drained, enriched acidic soil that remains consistently moist. It reaches 4 to 6 feet high and wide, with excellent branching. You will love this ultra-dependable, quick-as-a-wink Blueberry! 800-1,000 chill hours. Zones 3-8.
