Compact Plumes of Airy Blue Blooms!

Finely cut, silvery foliage adds an airy grace to any setting!
Coveted for its compact, vase-shaped habit and its finely cut, silvery foliage, this Russian Sage is sure to draw stares of envy from visitors (including butterflies!). Russian Sage is the perfect way to cut a ribbon of color through the sunny border or meadow. Ideal for xeriscapic gardens, it actually prefers that the soil dry out a bit between waterings. It also makes a fine rock garden subject, and is perfect in the baking-hot driveway area, as a sidewalk planting, or in urban tubs and planters. Rocketman is much better suited as a container specimen than the species thanks to its compact habit and high-impact color and form.

Rocketman thrives in full sun and any well-drained soil, even poorly fertile or dry conditions. Pamper it the first season while it finds its feet, then let it go! You'll find it superbly tolerant of heat, humidity, drought, and cold. Butterflies and hummingbirds like it, too. 1 Quart Container. Zones 4 to 9.
