Rudbeckia Spotlight®
Less than a foot tall and wide, this is far and away the most compact Rudbeckia yet -- and its blooms are fully 3 inches across!
Giant 3-inch blooms arise on this super-compact plant, each boasting a large chocolate-brown center, golden petals, and a smaller chocolate spot at the base of every petal. Slightly fluted and very closely-spaced, these petals have a starry appearance from a distance, and up close are unbelievably eye-catching. They arise from midsummer well into fall, asking only for sunshine and water to keep setting new buds.
Now here is the amazing part: these 3-inch blooms arise on plants just 6 to 8 inches high and 10 inches wide! Unlike those bigger, long-stemmed Rudbeckias you may be used to, Spotlight® focuses all its energy into good branching and ever more buds. Very weather-resistant, it just keeps setting new buds as the old blooms pass. There has never been a Rudbeckia like it! Pkt is 25 seeds.
