Here's a thrilling new look for the cool-season garden -- nearly black foliage, dense and tall, on a dwarf Snap with two-tone blooms! Black Dragon is a bold addition to the annual bed or container, making all nearby colors jump out all the brighter.
Just about a foot tall, this robust, vigorous plant sets numerous flowering spikes topped with tightly-packed rows of lavender-and-white blooms. The flowers stand out brilliantly against the deep burgundy to ebony leaves, for a color combination almost unknown elsewhere in the garden!
Ideal as cutflowers, these blooms also make a lovely addition to containers. Bronze Dragon is suitable for spring or fall blooms (they would make a terrific Halloween display!). This plant is resistant to rust, keeping the foliage dense and healthy. For a unique look, try it in front of or other tall Snap. Best in full sun. Pkt is 50 seeds.

Eye catchers!
After starting these "Snaps" from seed last year I loved the beautiful foilage right away. When they started blooming everyone who came to visit would go straight to one of their spots in my garden to see them up close. I will definitely order them again to plant for more enjoyment in 2012 .
