A growers' favorite in the south, where the vigorous bushes bear multiple harvests!

Long, slender yellow fruit is creamy and mild.
41 days. Enterprise has it all -- wide adaptability, terrific yields, and great holding ability! The straight, slender yellow fruit measures 7 to 8 inches long and 1 to 2 inches wide. And the flavor is mild, savory, and creamy-sweet!

A growers' favorite in the south, these vigorous bushes bear high-quality fruit across multiple harvests. A great choice for any region of the country, with terrific yields of top-notch eating! Trouble-free.

Summer squash ripens during the hot summer months and, thin-skinned, is best eaten fresh. Sow seeds 1 inch deep directly into the garden after the danger of frost is past. Thin the seedlings to 24 inches apart, or plant several seeds in hills 4 feet apart and then thin to 2 plants per hill. (For even earlier harvests, start seeds indoors.) Pick when the fruits are still small (4 to 8 inches long). Pkt is 20 seeds.

Best Producer for me EVER!!!
Greene from NC wrote (August 11, 2011):
I have grown squash for 4 years now. I usually grow Early Prolific Straight neck and I grew one yellow straightneck from burpee last year. Usually by the first of July my plants are completely done because of the heat and dry. However this year I grew enterprise and planted 3 hills of these and 3 hills of Early Prolific. By the middle of June my early prolific was done. It is now the first week of August and my Enterprise squash are still green, healthy, and still producing. The really put on the squash too. Will plant these again for sure!!!
