Squash Italian Harvest Hybrid Organic
Laughs at powdery mildew -- great for humid and rainy climates!
Pick these long, meaty squashes at about 10 to 12 inches. They'll grow longer, but this size is the peak of their flavor -- and such succulent, mellow flavor it is! Try them on the grill as well as fried and steamed. Italian Harvest takes plain old zucchini to the next level!
Our seed is Certified Organic, so you know you're growing only what nature intended: a delicious, very heavy-bearing summer squash. And because of its good tolerance of powdery mildew, Italian Harvest can be grown in hot, humid, and rainy climates where other squash may have let you down. Sweet, firm, and tender, this just may become your favorite summer squash!
To grow Italian Harvest, sow seeds 1 inch deep after danger of frost is past. Thin the seedlings to 24 inches apart, or plant several seeds in hills 4 feet apart and thin to 2 plants per hill. For earlier harvest, you can start seeds indoors. Pkt is 15 seeds.
