Sunflower Razzmatazz Mix
Uniform 4- to 6-foot height makes planting as easy as "scatter to sow"!
These plants are very uniform in height, so you don't have to worry about dwarves being overshadowed by giants. All reach about 4 to 6 feet tall, creating a nice, even line for a large planting. They begin blooming in early summer and really take off in the intense heat of July and August, so plan for plenty of color!
The blooms vary from 4 to 8 inches across, all single but many so packed with long, daisy-like petals that they appear double. You'll get bicolors and even some whispers of yellow in tricolors! All are so well-matched for shade and tone that any given handful of blooms is a perfectly coordinated bouquet!
If you want to extend the color range a bit farther into the golds and yellows, combine Razzmatazz with Park's Large Flowered Mix, which produces plants of the same height in warm tones like those of Blanket Flowers. Or create instant contrast for just about everything else in the garden or vase with slightly taller Italian White.
Razzmatazz Mix is very easy to grow. Just direct-sow the seeds in spring in any sunny spot, even those where the soil is poor. The birds will love you, guests will smile, and your vases will runneth over with summer's bounty! Pkt is 25 seeds.
