The only fragrant Knock Out®, it boasts the heady apple-like aroma of sweetbriar.

These 3-inch blooms open butter-yellow, then mature to pure white.
Plant Patent #18,562. Cultivar name: 'RADsunny'. Just when you think the Knock Out® series may be complete, another new look comes along to astound and delight! Sunny Knock Out® has large blooms that open buttery yellow, then mature through all stages of cream and ivory to pure white. But its most interesting feature is that unlike the others in the series, it is fragrant, releasing a woodsy, apple-like scent best described as sweetbriar.

These single blooms reach 3 inches across and radiate soft, bright color from late spring until first hard frost. Very abundant, they lighten and brighten any setting, and once they are fully blooming, the combination of yellow, cream, and white blooms is breathtaking. This plant tends to repeat in great waves, so it is seldom caught out of bloom over its long, long season!

Like other Knock Outs®, Sunny is very resistant to blackspot as well as to mildew, rust, and Japanese beetles. Vigorous and very well-branched, it reaches 4 to 4 ½ feet tall and spreads nearly as wide, with excellent branching studded with buds and blooms. A carefree joy for any sunny setting from the rose garden to a hedge, foundation, or border, Sunny Knock Out® is not to be missed!

If you like the idea of a rose that blooms heavily over 3 seasons without spraying or pruning, resists blackspot and other problems, and always looks fresh and tidy, you must try other Knock Outs® as well. New White Out™ is a single-flowered pure white variety that combines perfectly with Sunny, while any of the double-flowered varieties work as well. Whatever look you desire, there's probably a Knock Out® just made for it! Zones 5-9.

Fragrance a plus!

I bought these spring of 2011, and in their second year they continue to be all star! Repeat bloomers with little pruning or feeding, I have no blackspot. And they seem to attract praying mantis, so it's no wonder there are no aphids! I've cut a few for the house and love the fragrance.
Incredibly vigorous and pretty too.
Tara from NY wrote (September 11, 2012):
Just bought these in Spring 2012. They bloomed all summer and still have flowers and buds in September in Upstate NY (USDA region 5)! I never deadheaded and they just kept on blooming. If these make it through the winter they'll earn 6-stars. Very pretty flowers starting out lemon yellow and slowly turning creamy white until the flower is done.
