Sweet Pea High Scent
Every bloom edged in pale blue!
The blooms are a creamy shade of white faintly outlined in blue, very old-fashioned in hue and fussy in appearance. They appear by the half-dozen or so at the end of foot-long stems that just seem made for cutting. One stem will perfume the entire house; a fully blooming plant in the garden or on the patio is almost an embarrassment of heavenly scent!
Butterflies adore these blooms, so be sure to leave some on the plant, but pick all you like for indoor arrangements. Nothing equals the fragrance and beauty of a pot of sweet peas, and High Scent hearkens back to the vintage look of dainty colors and flouncy blooms. Magnificent!
Sweet Pea is a cool-season annual, so start it in spring for summer bloom in northern and cooler climates, or in fall for winter and spring blooms farther south and west. High Scent will climb 4 to 6 feet high (or trail 4 to 6 feet long, depending on how you choose to grow it!), and is a very dependable bloomer. No garden (or gardener!) should be without these stunning blooms! Highly recommended. Pkt is 50 seeds.
