Veronica First Love
Just a Foot High, it Radiates Bold Color!
Just a foot high in full bloom, this perennial spreads up to 18 inches, making it a good choice for groundcover or large plantings. The foliage is handsome from spring until frost, while the flowers appear all summer long. Deadhead or cut them (they do well in indoor bouquets) for even faster rebloom!
First Love is unappetizing to deer and other nibbling creatures, so it's a good choice for a woodland or open garden. It will tolerate a bit of shade, but does best in plenty of sunshine. Compact and lush, it always looks its best! Zones 3-9.
