Vinca First Kiss Blueberry

A totally new color for annual Vinca, and a hard-to-find shade for any flowering plant! These blooms are glowing agate-blue with darker centers -- attention-getting in any setting, and absolutely spectacular in a large planting. Already the recipient of an AAS award for its striking color, First Kiss Blueberry is a hardworking plant that your sunny garden and containers will love!
The blooms measure about 2 inches wide, with bright blue petals and a small, darker blue eye. Expect the first blossoms to open just 10 to 12 weeks after sowing the seed -- this is a very high-quality variety with great get-up-and-grow and a tireless bloom habit! The flowers continue all summer, often so abundantly that they hide the foliage!
Neat, well-branched plant form contributes to First Kiss Blueberry's beauty, too. The plants reach 10 to 14 inches high and 8 to 10 inches wide in no time, making a very uniform, pleasing outline for the sunny annual border, and filling a container nicely. Try them alongside dwarf Zinnias, low-growing ornamental grasses, and in front of tall Salvia for a glorious summer show of color.
