Berry Blue is a honeyberry of Eastern Europe producing very high yields of richly flavored fruit that ripen two weeks before strawberries in late spring to early summer. The shrub of Berry Blue is lush and dense, covered in fragrant flowers leading to dark blue, sweet, antioxidant-rich berries perfect for juice, pies, preserves and snacks.

Best for partially shaded areas with space for compact growth of about five feet high and wide. Pest and disease resistant shrubs are hardy to up to -40 degrees F. Best in mulched gardens for soil moisturization. Plant next to Lonicera Honeyberry Borealis for richer crops from both. Zones 2 to 7.
