Braveheart Hybrid Cherry Tomato Seeds

(P) Pkt of 15 seeds
Item #52727-PK-P1

The most flavorful cherry yet

Days to Maturity: 60 from transplant

Until you've tasted Braveheart, you haven't really eaten a homegrown cherry tomato. That's because this variety is thin-skinned, unlike those leathery supermarket cherries, and it's just bursting with rich, meaty, sugary, juicy flavor. All the complex notes of a beefsteak are contained in every small round fruit.

Just one ounce on average, this fruit is round and bright red. It arises by the many, many dozen over a long season on vigorous indeterminate plants. The flavor is irresistible, the look is charming—you will find yourself making excuses to go out to the garden and sneak a handful of these for healthy between-meal snacking.

Great disease resistance is the secret to Braveheart's yields—you just get more fruit on every stem, and the harvest season lasts all summer. This tough plant stands up to leaf mold, Fusarium wilt, fusarium crown and root rot, tomato mosaic virus, and gray leaf spot. You just can't beat that.

Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date. Plant outdoors when danger of frost is past and night temperatures consistently remain above 55 degrees Fahrenheit. If a late frost is forecasted, protect young plants with plastic sheeting or other cover. Set plants 2 to 2½ feet apart.

Wonderful flavor and yield

Looking forward to growing this again. No matter how many the squirrels raided off the plants, there was plenty. Absolutely best tomato I've ever grown. Small, but mighty...tasty!

Braveheart Cherry Tomato

Braveheart Cherry Tomatoes are extremely flavorful, productive, resist splitting, and will continue to ripen when picked green right before frost. I have planted them for three years. Great for fresh eating and cooking.

Best cherry tomato!

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I love this tomato!! I have 2 plants (started from seed, gave many away, almost all germinated). The taste is wonderful, great balance of acid and sweet and kind of "rich". No cracking, and we've had a huge amount of rain in 2019. No problems with disease, which is unusual due to our humid summers (I do spray with an antifungal). Enormous amount of production. I only wish I'd planted more than 2 plants, I will plant more next year!

Best tasting tomato, hands down

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

This tomato is amazing! Great acid taste, vine is vigorous and healthy and about 10 feet tall. Must have had a million tomatoes so far from TWO plants and they're still going strong. My one wish is that you could put the taste gene from this tomato into a slicer. Whoever developed this tomato deserves a medal.

Braveheart Cherry

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I am new to growing cherry tomatoes, so I did not know what to expect with this variety. I sowed seeds, and transplanted seedlings when conditions were favorable. After two months, the plants are over ten feet tall, and loaded with fruit. The taste/flavor is outstanding! Skin is thin, but resists cracking, and tender. I will be increasing my crop size in the future. I highly recommend this variety to anyone looking for abundance, flavor, etc....
