Camellia's are famous for brightening the fall, winter, and spring landscapes with beautiful flowers and evergreen foliage and Camellia sasanqua 'Leslie Ann' is no exception. From the same parentage as Camellia 'Moonshadow' the dark green, glossy leave stay gorgeous all year long and provide the perfect background for the incredible flowers. The double blooms are 3 to 4 inches across and are produced over a long season from mid-fall to early spring. The petals are incredibly bi-colored, pure white with a border of rosy pink. You'll have to see these beautiful flowers to believe them. With a fairly upright growth habit it will mature to about 8 to 10 feet tall and 4 to 5 feet wide making it suitable for a variety of landscape uses from foundation planting to hedges.

Camellia sasanqua 'Leslie Ann' is hardy and a easy to care for shrub but with some maintenance and care Camellia sasanqua 'Leslie Anne' will be a stunner. Plant this shrub in well-prepared beds with good drainage and enriched soil. Part sun to part shade is considered ideal. Choose a location that receives four to six hours of direct sun in the morning and some shade in the afternoon, or a spot that receives bright, dappled shade all throughout the day. Prune to shape the shrubs in spring. Flower buds set by midsummer, so avoid extensive pruning after May.
