Best grape tomato ever!

This one surpasses the old "Santa" variety in every way! Vigorous plants, quite disease resistant, very little fruit cracking...and when leaf disease finally did come very late in the season, the green tomatoes stayed on the plant and ripened nicely as well. I had so many that I took to using a technique we usually use for plum tomatoes: dehydrating! They make yummy little crispy candies when dried in a forced air dehydrator at medium heat.

My sister started giving me the grape tomato 'Cupid' plant and we were amazed at how well it grew and the great taste. I grow them vertically and they have grown over 8 feet tall

Best grape tomato

I got these seeds as a bonus pack one year. I planted the cupid hybrid seeds along with 6 other varieties of tomatoes. These are the best of all that I have planted. The most frustrating thing to me about cherry or grape tomatoes is cracking. These tomatoes simply do not crack. I have used plenty of other varieties that say they are resistant, but not compared to these babies....if cracking is a horror for you, like it is for me, choose these. On a side note, the flavor is amazing. Sweet and compact, a nice burst of deliciousness. Everything about this plant is perfect. Yum!
